Sweawitches is a bi-annual print publication with the eternal theme of water. Within the water theme they've explored menstruation, mental health, white privilege, technology, environmental issues, and more. Each issue is paired with and Artist In Residence and filled with writer contributors, and beautifully printed artwork throughout. (Issue 001 is sold out)

Avocado Stones, Oxalis Flowers, Indigo Ink.
Boiled avocado stones with a mordant fixative create a variety of pink hues in each sheet. Oxalis flowers gathered in Berkeley add the lush yellow hues. When the inks interact and overlap it produces hints of orange. Hand painted runes with liquid fisket resist.
